SMS Opt-In and Consent

Last updated: October 9, 2026

Overview

USURA.IO is a personal budgeting and debt management web app at usura.io, operated by CDWJ LLC. This page explains how members agree to receive text messages from USURA.IO, which messages they can choose, and how to stop them.

How You Opt In

Text messages are optional and are only sent to members who opt in themselves. There is one way to opt in:

  1. Create a USURA.IO account at usura.io and sign in.
  2. Open Profile and save your mobile phone number in the Phone Number field.
  3. In the Text Messages (Optional) section of the same page, check one or both boxes: Account notifications and Promotions. Both boxes are unchecked by default.
  4. Click Save Text Preferences.

The two boxes are separate from each other and from everything else in the app. Neither box is part of creating an account, accepting our Terms, or buying a plan, and checking them is not a condition of purchase or of using USURA.IO.

When you save, we record which box you checked, the date and time, the mobile number it applies to, and the exact wording shown next to the box. If you later change your phone number, texts stop until you check the box again for the new number.

What the Opt-In Looks Like

This is the Text Messages section members see on their Profile page after signing in, shown in its default state. The wording is identical to the live app.
